Chateau de Gudanes includes a whopping 94 rooms, all of which Australian couple Karina and Craig Waters have been painstakingly restoring since they purchased the property in 2013. The citadel was inbuilt within the reign of King Louis XV and designed by Parisian architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel. The project will take them many extra years to complete but for now, they’ve secured the building, double glazed it and put in electrical energy, that means it will be opened to visitors within the close to future.
